ARTPARKTSUKUBA2023・個展「水底の渦」
街の色、どこからか聞こえてくるチャイムの音、天気の匂い、おだやかな公園を歩いていると思い出すものがある。
それはぽつぽつと水滴が現れるように頭の中で回想しては、その時、心に残ったことを追体験させてくれる。
鑑賞者が作品を見て回ることで、記憶の断片を追いかけるような作品を制作しました。
作品はgalleryneo_senshuでの個展「水底の渦」を中心に
二の宮公園内で大型作品とワークショップの三つの作品で展開されました。

サッカーやゲートボールを楽しむ人、散歩する人、ベンチで昼食をとっている人、それぞれが公園の中で過ごしている様子を見て、この公園内に溶け込むような作品を作りたいと思った。
つくばには宇宙センターがあり、そこにある地球儀や彗星の尾をヒントにこの作品を作った。
galleryneo_senshuを中心に公園の周りを回っていただく事を目的にした作品なので、歩いて作品を眺めて見る作品
"Thinking about it"

After seeing people spending time in the park, including people playing soccer and gateball, people taking walks, and people having lunch on benches, I wanted to create a piece that would blend in with the park.
There is a space center in Tsukuba, and this piece was inspired by the globes and comet tails there.
The purpose of this work is for people to walk around the park, centering on galleryneo_senshu, so you can see it while walking.

What have you felt recently? What was the most memorable thing you remember? And how did it move you? Joy, sadness, anger, etc. Let's draw images of various emotions such as fun and calm as patterns on panels imitating water droplets. Images of emotions you have felt recently (joy, surprise, sadness, anger, etc.) can be drawn like a pattern on a panel imitating water droplets. Leopards, works dotted here and there on the trees like musical notes.
水底の渦｜galleryneo_senshu
個展「水底の渦」 全てはカルタスつくは賞で展示した作品 「漂う」という作品から始まりました。 この作品は、co_enで開かれた根っこの展覧会に出品した作品です。 地中深く蠢く根っこが家の塀にまとわりついて柵を飲み込んでいたところから着想を得て、土の中を深海と捉えその獰猛さを深海魚をモチーフに描いた作品です。 春先にギャラリー賞をいただき本ギャラリーの展示の機会をいただきましたが、大変光栄なことに公園で展示するという機会もいただきました。 公園の作品は街から発せられる匂いや景色のイメージ、そこから思い浮かんでは消えていく形を、地球儀や彗星の尾からヒントを得て制作した作品です。 また今年制作した作品が一貫して「水」に関わりがある作品でした。 このことから「宇宙」「水」「深海魚」をつなぎ合わせた展覧会にしたいと考え、鑑賞者には色彩の渦の中を見て歩いて体感するような展覧会を目指しました。 公園が渦にあたり、本展覧会がそうした渦の中心であることを意識しています。
Solo exhibition “Underwater Vortex” It all started with the work “Drifting”, which was exhibited at the Cultus Tsukuba Award. This work was exhibited at the Roots exhibition held at CO_EN. Inspired by the roots that wriggled deep underground, clinging to the fence of a house and swallowing it, this work depicts the depths of the earth as the deep sea and depicts its ferocity as a motif of deep-sea fish. In early spring, I received a gallery award and had the opportunity to exhibit at this gallery, but I was also very honored to have the opportunity to exhibit at a park. The works in the park are inspired by the smells emanating from the city, the images of the scenery, and the shapes that appear and disappear from those images, inspired by the globe and the tail of a comet. Also, the works I created this year were consistently related to water. For this reason, I wanted to create an exhibition that connected ``space,'' ``water,'' and ``deep-sea fish,'' and I aimed for an exhibition that would allow viewers to walk and experience a whirlpool of color. I am conscious that the park is a whirlpool, and that this exhibition is the center of such a whirlpool.

大型作品「渦の先」は新作で、記憶について制作しました。
楽しかったもの、嬉しかったもの、感動したもの、苦労した先に手に入れたものの記憶は時間がたつと着物のように纏って美しく彩られて形作りますが、時には獣のように静かに牙を剥きます。
その獣として描いたものがデメニギスです。
デメニギスは頭が透明で体が鱗で覆われた深海魚で、宇宙船のような魚と言われています。
深海魚は身を守るために体の下腹部分を発光し、上から降り注ぐ太陽の光によって自分の影を作らないよう身を隠しますが、スコープのようなデメニギスの目からは身を隠すことはできません。
デメニギスはゆっくりと獲物に近づきあっという間に食べてしまう、深海の中で生きる狡猾さと静かな獰猛さがあります。牙を向いた記憶の狡猾さを表現したかったのでデメニギスをモチーフに描きました。
そして華やかさの中の獰猛さを表現したかったので、画面左手側にある口先はチョウチンアンコウの鋭い歯がモチーフになっていますが、記憶(水滴)が落ちて形作られるようにしたかったのでミルククラウンを模した鋭い牙になっています。
ただ、その牙を剥き喰われた先に新しい始まりがあると思います。その願いを込めて作品を描きました。

The large-scale work ``Beyond the Whirlpool'' is a new work created about memory.
Over time, the memories of things that were fun, things that made us happy, things that moved us, and things that we gained through hard work are wrapped up like a kimono and become beautifully colored and shaped, but sometimes they silently show their fangs like a beast. Peel it off.
The beast depicted is Demenigis.
Demenigis is a deep-sea fish with a transparent head and a body covered with scales, and is said to resemble a spaceship.
In order to protect themselves, deep-sea fish emit light from the lower abdomen of their bodies and hide from the sun's rays falling from above to avoid creating shadows, but they cannot hide from the scope-like eyes of Demenigis. you can't.
Demenigis is a cunning and quiet ferocious fish that lives in the depths of the ocean, slowly approaching its prey and devouring it in an instant. I drew Demenigis as a motif because I wanted to express the cunningness of memory that faces its fangs.
I also wanted to express the ferocity of the gorgeousness, so the snout on the left side of the screen is a motif of the sharp teeth of a monkfish, but I wanted it to be shaped like a memory (water droplet) falling, so it has a milk crown. It has sharp fangs that imitate.
However, I believe that there will be a new beginning after the fangs are stripped. I created this work with that wish in mind.
